Trump Signals Possible Iran Nuclear Deal Despite Devastating US Strikes.

In a dramatic twist following days of heightened military action, U.S. President Donald Trump has hinted at the possibility of renewed nuclear negotiations with Iran. Speaking on Wednesday, Trump revealed that the United States is preparing to enter into nuclear talks with Tehran as early as next week, even as he touted the effectiveness of recent U.S. airstrikes.

According to Trump, the strikes delivered a severe blow to Iran's nuclear infrastructure, which he claimed was now in “total ruins.” He described the mission as a "spectacular success" and stated that Iran’s atomic program had been set back “by decades.” The U.S. military reportedly targeted key enrichment and research facilities, including those in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

Despite Trump's confident remarks, leaked U.S. intelligence reports suggest a different narrative. Sources within the intelligence community indicated that while the strikes were impactful, they likely only delayed Iran’s nuclear development by a few months, not decades as the president claimed. Analysts argue that much of Iran’s nuclear knowledge and infrastructure is deeply embedded and may not be entirely reliant on the physical sites that were hit.

Still, Trump insisted that the pressure from the airstrikes has forced Iran back to the negotiating table. “They’ve seen what we’re capable of, and now they want to talk,” he said. “Peace through strength works.”

International reactions have been mixed. While some allies view the proposed talks as a step toward stability, others express concern over the long-term consequences of military escalation and question whether true diplomatic progress can be made under such high-stakes conditions.

Iran has yet to issue an official response regarding the upcoming negotiations. However, state-affiliated media has continued to condemn the strikes, calling them acts of aggression and warning of consequences should diplomacy fail.

As both nations brace for what could be a pivotal round of dialogue, global observers are watching closely, hopeful that the coming talks may de-escalate tensions and open the door to a more lasting resolution.
