Governor Uzodimma Boasts Record-Breaking Road Construction in Imo State Since 1999.

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has confidently declared that his administration has constructed more roads across the state than all previous administrations combined since the return of democracy in 1999. Speaking at a recent public engagement, the governor highlighted infrastructure development as one of the key achievements of his government, saying it stands as a testament to his commitment to repositioning Imo State for economic growth and improved connectivity.

According to Uzodimma, his administration has not only embarked on building new roads but has also rehabilitated several long-abandoned and dilapidated routes that had become death traps for motorists. He emphasized that these projects span across urban and rural areas, aiming to ease transportation, boost commerce, and improve residents’ overall quality of life.

While critics have often questioned the scale and impact of his developmental strides, the governor insists that the facts on the ground speak for themselves. “We have done in four years what others could not do in two decades,” Uzodimma stated. He further called on Imo people to visit various parts of the state to see the “visible transformation” brought by his administration.
